1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
a) Graduate Apprentice : Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University.
b) Technician Apprentice : Diploma in Engg./Tech. from Board of Tech. Education of a State.
c) Technician (Voc.) Apprentice : 10+2 with certain designated Vocational Subjects from HSC Board.
d) Sandwich (Graduate/Technician) Apprentice : Students who are undergoing Sandwich Courses of
Degree/Diploma in Engg./Tech. at any of the Technical Institutions recognised for the purpose are eligible to undergo the apprenticeship training during their curriculum.
2. TRAINING DATE The apprenticeship
training may be started at any date of the year.
3. PERIOD OF TRAINING One year for Graduate/Technician & Technician (Voc.) Apprentices. While for Sandwich
4. AGE LIMIT To
undergo Apprenticeship Training, the minimum age limit is 14 years and there is
no upper age limit. However, the candidates between the age of 14-18 years are
not eligible to sign the Contracts, being the Minor. Their Contracts will be
signed by their Guardian.
