       I wish to invite your kind attention over the above subject matter and mention that an in-ordinate delay made by the establishments in sending the Contract Registration Cards (CRCs) has been observed, in general. In this regard, it is requested to kindly instruct the concerned officers looking after the engagement of Graduate/Technician/Technician (Voc) apprentices under The Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 & 1986 in your establishment, to send the CRCs in respect of the engaged apprentices within 3 weeks of the engagement. You will appreciate that this will help the Board to carry out the further processes based on these documents in a lesser time period. This in turn, will enable your establishment for intime tendering of the claims for reimbursement of stipend on quarterly basis. It will be worth mentioning that this Board is now processing the claims at a faster rate so as to make payments towards reimbursement in 15 days from receipt of a claim.

       In view of extending an opportunity of apprenticeship training to large number of aspirants, I request you to bestow your personal attention for regular engagement of the apprentices as per the quota allotted and to see that not a single vacancy arises at any point of time. Doubts, if any, regarding the implementation of the scheme may be got cleared by making telephonic contacts with the officers of the Board implementing the scheme in your area.
