5. RATE OF STIPEND

• i) Graduate Apprentice : Rs. 2,600/- p.m.
• ii) Technician Apprentice: Rs. 1,850/- p.m.
• iii) Technician (Voc.) Appr. : Rs. 1,440/- p.m.
• iv) Graduate Sandwich Trainee : Rs. 1,850/- p.m.
• v) Technician Sandwich Trainee  : Rs. 1,510/- p.m.

 6. PROCEDURE FOR ENGAGING APPRENTICES

  The establishments may issue advertisements in the local newspapers, approach  local Employment Exchanges or contact Engineering Colleges/Polytechnics/Junior Colleges to get the list of passed out candidates. The establishments may also contact this Board for getting list of eligible candidates.

 7. REGISTRATION OF CONTRACT OF APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING

  As soon as the apprentice has joined the establishment, the Apprentices Contract Registration Card is to be prepared in triplicate. The candidate has to give a Declaration that he has not undergone apprenticeship training anywhere, under the Act. The Declaration format is provided in the Contract Registration Card. If the gap between the declaration of the result and the commencement of training is less than one year, a self Affidavit is sufficient and if the gap is between one to three years, a Court Affidavit should be submitted in the same format as Declaration. Whereas, a candidate is not eligible to undergo apprenticeship training if the gap is more than three years.
