Guidelines For Apprenticeship Training Aspirants |

The National Scheme of Apprenticeship
Training implemented by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (Department
of Education) provides opportunities for practical training to freshly pass-on
graduate engineers,technicians and 10+2 (Vocational) students in industries and
other organisations as per the Apprentices Act 1961, (as amended in 1973 &
1986) and as per policies and guidelines laid down by Central Apprenticeship
Council. |

Educational Qualification
1.Graduate Apprentice
A Degree in Engineering/Techonolgy awarded by a
statutory University or by an Institution empowered to award such Degree by an
Act of parliament.
An examination of professional bodies recognised by
central Government as equivalent to Degree
A Sandwich Course student who is undergoing training as per the curriculum in order that he may hold a Degree in Engineering/Technology as mentioned (a) above.
2.Technician Apprentice
A Diploma in Engineering /Technology awarded by a
State Council on Board of Technical Education established by a State
Government or by an University or by an institute recognised by the State
Government or Central Government as equivalent.
